หลังจากที่เปิดให้บริการมาได้สักระยะหนึ่งสำหรับ Samsung Wallet แอพสำหรับรวบรวมคูปองส่วนลดและสมาชิกต่างๆ (แบบเดียวกับ Passbook ของ iOS) วันนี้ทาง Samsung ส่งอีเมลแจ้งลูกค้าว่า จะยุติการให้บริการในวันที่ 30 มิถุนายนนี้
ทาง Samsung ระบุว่า ตั้งแต่วันสิ้นสุดการให้บริการ คูปองที่อยู่ในแอพจะใช้งานไมได้ แต่การทำการจองหรือตั๋วอื่นๆ จะยังคงอยู่ โดยลูกค้าจะต้องติดต่อโดยตรงกับผู้ให้บริการเอง และตัวแอพจะไม่สามารถเข้าถึงได้อีกต่อไป แต่ไม่มีการระบุเพิ่มเติมว่าจะเอาแอพออกได้อย่างไรบ้าง
ทาง Samsung ไม่ได้มีการระบุเหตุผลของการปิดการให้บริการ Samsung Wallet แต่อย่างใด
