หลาย ๆ คนอาจจะจำได้ว่าทีวีโซนี่ตระกูล "ไตรนิตรอน" ถือว่าเป็นตระกูลทีวีที่ทำให้ทุกคนยอมรับในสมัยนั้นว่า "โซนี่ผลิตทีวีที่คุณภาพสูงที่สุด" โดยตระกูลทีวีชุดนี้ทำให้โซนี่นั้นกลายเป็น "ราชาแห่งทีวี" ไปโดยปริยาย

Gizmodo ได้ทำ Timeline ตั้งแต่จุดเริ่มต้นของโทรทัศน์จนถึงยุคปัจจุบัน สำหรับไตรนิตรอนเครื่องแรกนั้น ออกวางขายในปี 1968 หลังจากนั้นในช่วงปลายยุค 90 ทางโซนี่ก็ได้เร่ิมทำการตลาดไตรนิตรอนใหม่ภายในชื่อ WEGA จนในที่สุดยอดขายของไตรนิตรอนก็ลดลง เนื่องจากเทคโนโลยีใหม่ที่ดีกว่าอย่างพลาสม่าและแอลซีดี

โซนี่จะหยุดการผลิตและการสนับสนุนทีวีไตรนิตรอนทั่วโลกอย่างเป็นทางการ... ลาก่อน (จนกว่า Bravia จะถูกลงกว่านี้)

Something that isn't possible not to mention it, though some of the people have really forgotten about it. Sony will officially stop the production and support for Sony Trinitron this month.

Seems like we all have to agree on this one: Sony has been crowned "the King of TV" just because of Trinitron, the world's most famous television product line, ever. It's been said to be the best quality TVs in the planet.

Gizmodo has just published a timeline containing interesting history of televisions, and of-course "Trinitron" is in the highlight.

A-last... it's time to say a lovely good-bye to Trinitron... And of-course I'll become a good care taker of its brother soon once Bravia becomes cheaper.
